Larisa Oleynik (Sara)
As the only child of attentive and doting parents, Larisa Oleynik
began her theatrical training at an early age. Melodramas were often improvised in the
living room to accompany her father's after dinner piano practice. At age eight, she
dragged her mother to an open call for Les Miserables in San Francisco and won
the part of 'Young Cosette', which she played for over a year. Oleynik then began to
divide her time between normal childhood experiences in Northern California, and auditions
in Los Angeles. At age eleven, Larisa landed her first starring television role as the
title character in Nickelodeon's The Secret World of Alex Mack The show was a success
for four years, drawing a diverse audience while staying true to its most devoted fan base of
pre-teen girls. In 1999, Larisa starred in 10 Things I Hate about You as 'Bianca',
younger sister to Julia Stiles' 'Kat'. The film was an international hit and is considered one of the best teen movies of all time.
Oleynik continued to juggle high school with work as a series regular on Third Rock from the Sunand in the features
100 Girls, An American Rhapsody and A Time for Dancing, until the decision was made to focus on four
years at Sarah Lawrence College. She proudly graduated in '04 with a degree in Liberal Arts and has since resumed her
training in pursuit of a lasting acting career. Recent television appearances include Malcolm in the Middle,
Pepper Dennis and Aliens in America, as well as lead roles in the features Pope Dreams,
Bringing Rain, Relative Obscurity and Together Again for the First Time. She feels a particular
fondness for her most recent work as 'Sara' in the feature film Broken Windows. Larisa currently lives in
Venice, CA and appreciates all that beach living has to offer.
Sarah Thompson (Katie)
Sarah Thompson is best known for her regular role as Rose on The WB's 7th Heaven. Prior to that, she had a
season long arc as Eve on The WB's Angel, while concurrently juggling a recurring role on Rod Lurie's
critically acclaimed ABC drama Line of Fire. Born in Los Angeles, Sarah made her film debut at 16
in Ang Lee's The Ice Storm. She then went on to star in the FOX television series Manchester Prep.
Shortly after its cancellation, she was cast as Dana Poole on David E. Kelley's FOX drama Boston Public and
played the role for two seasons. Sarah's numerous other credits include Malibu's Most Wanted (Warner Bros.
Pictures), The Sopranos, Without a Trace, Touched by an Angel, and Strangers with Candy.
She will next be seen opposite Kevin Bacon in the HBO film Taking Chance. She will also be seen soon in
lead roles in the South African film Hansie, based on the life of acclaimed cricket star Hansie Cronje and
in the horror film Babysitter Wanted opposite Kyle XY's Matt Dallas.
Jennifer Hall (Amy)
Nurturing an impressive body of work that encompasses film, television and music, Jennifer Hall is positioning
herself as one of Hollywood's most promising young talents as her career continues to evolve with exciting and
challenging projects. Jennifer recently wrapped production on the indie film, Finding Amanda with Mathew Broderick.
She also appears in Bewitched, with Nicole Kidman & Will Farrell. Jennifer made her film debut in the critically
acclaimed film Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which was directed by George Clooney and executive produced by Steven
Soderbergh. Segueing effortlessly between the big and small screen, Jennifer recurs as the sexy husband stealing Naughty
Nurse Monica on Nip Tuck and appears as a guest star on such prime time shows as House MD, CSI, CSI: Miami,
Criminal Minds, Monk, N.C.I S, Law & Order: SUV. She recently re-teamed with Clooney and Soderbergh and starred
in their HBO Series Unscripted, which also featured songs written by Jennifer. Additionally, Jennifer played Elle
Woods in the television pilot Legally Blonde and was recurring on the daytime drama All My Children.
Sara Jane Nash (Beth)
Born and raised in the South of England, Sara began acting at a very early age and hasn't looked back since.
Whilst growing up, she fed her passion for performance by appearing in community theatre productions – taking
the lead roles in Rebecca, Les Liaisons Dangeureuses, Run for your Wife, When did you Last See Your Trousers? and
Pardon Me, Prime Minister - demonstrating an already strong ability to deliver emotional, dramatic performances
as well as a natural flair for comedic timing. Whilst attending college in Cambridge, England, where she graduated
with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Sara took the lead roles in Lady Windermere's Fan and The
Playboy of the Western World. Since relocating to Southern California in 2003, Sara has devoted herself to
acting full time and has set her sights on a film career, steadily building her resume and reputation as an actress
to keep your eye on. In 2006, Sara wrapped four films, which included a starring role in feature film Curse of Alcatraz,
released by Lionsgate in 2007, a lead role in the the edgy short Unspoken, which has enjoyed success on the
festival circuit, including its premier at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival. When Sara was offered
the opportunity to work once again with Tony Hickman in Broken Windows, there was no hesitation on her part.
The role of Beth, one of the four women in to whose lives we are given an insight, was written specifically for her
by the writer/director and was one of her most challenging to date.
Corri English (DJ)
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Corri English made her stage debut at just 4 years old, with a smashing performance
of "I Had a Little Turtle." Her father, a veteran singer, provided for his family by entertaining crowds five nights a
week for over twenty years. It must have had an impact. By age 9, Corri was working steadily, and as been busy with
commercial, voice-over, television, and film work ever since. At 15, Corri began a six year stint hosting the
TBS series Feed Your Mind, a learning-adventure show which sent her traveling around the globe. She
continued to work in television with a recurring role on ABC's Joan of Arcadia, the WB's Dawson's
Creek, a guest-starring role on the WB's One Tree Hill, and various roles in television movies,
including Disney's Stuck in the Suburbs, ABC Family's Searching for David's Heart, and opposite
Berry Pepper in ESPN's 3: The Dale Earndhart Story. Upon graduating
summa cum laude from the University of Georgia, Athens, Corri made the move to Los Angeles. After only a few
weeks in L.A., she got her first big break, landing the coveted role of goth-girl Lydia Deets in Runaway Jury,
where she worked alongside Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, and John Cusack. In 2006, Corri starred in the WB's
Tom Fontana/Barry Levinson-produced series, The Bedford Diaries, as well as the horror-thriller
Unrest, part of Lions Gate's "8 Films to Die For," which won multiple awards, including two best actress
awards for Corri. Most recently, Corri has appeared on Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, Justice, and NCIS,
and has three films coming out in 2008, including Killer Pad, a horror/comedy directed by Robert
Englund, Broken Windows, by Tony Hickman, and the horror film House of Fears, directed by Ryan
Little. Currently, Corri is signed to a holding deal with ABC for the pilot The Owners, created by Fred
Goss and Nick Holly (ABC's Sons & Daughters).
Michael Gross (Teddy)
When Michael Gross traded in the intimacy and familiarity of the theater for television cameras and a Hollywood
sound stage, little did he know that he would be catapulted into the limelight with the success of
Family Ties. For seven years, Michael charmed us all with his portrayal of the passionate 60's
activist-father, Steven Keaton. He began his professional career with three seasons at the Actors
Theatre of Louisville. Other regional theatre work included seasons at The Guthrie Theater, the Yale
Repertory Theatre, Baltimore's Center Stage, the Indiana Repertory Theatre, and the Mark Taper Forum,
where he won a Drama Logue Award for the west-coast premiere of The Real Thing. His many New York productions
include the Broadway premiere of Bent, for which he received a Drama Desk Award nomination, and the
off-Broadway production of No End of Blame, earning him an Obie Award. His television movie
credits include F.D.R. The Last Year, Little Gloria...Happy At Last, A Letter to Three Wives,
Right To Die, The FBI Murders, Vestige of Honor, Manhunt in the Dakotas, With A Vengeance, Snowbound:
The Jim and Jennifer Stolpa Story, and Deceived By Trust. He has appeared in the feature
films Big Business, the touching Alan And Naomi, the science-fiction thriller,
Tremors — along with its three sequels and Sci-Fi Network show — as well as
numerous direct-to-video releases, and independent feature films, including Sometimes They Come Back...Again,
Kounterfeit, True Heart, An American In China, and Broken Windows. His numerous television guest
appearances include Law & Order, Family Law, Ally Macbeal, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: SVU,
How I Met Your Mother, Boston Legal, Medium, and Michael Fox's farewell episode of Spin City.
He is currently hard at work on his latest mid-life crisis.
Jonathan Murphy (Nate)
This year is proving to be one of Jonathan Murphy's most successful and demanding ones yet,
starring on two series on two different networks. Jonathan is currently starring in the second
season of ABC's hit series, October Road, as Ronnie Garrett, the goof-ball younger brother
to the lead character, Nick played by Bryan Greenberg. Murphy can also be seen on the hit ABC
Family series, Wildfire as Calvin Handley the inventor of the wind turbine that reduces
the need for foreign oil consumption and changes the world. Murphy has two films completed slated
for 2008 release. First up, he will be seen starring in Broken Windows and Ready or Not.
Some of Murphy's other credits include, Cold Case, Without a Trace and American Dreams.
Jason George (Walt)
While Jason George was completing his graduate studies in Philadelphia, he was chosen to appear as
Michael Bourne on the daytime drama series, Sunset Beach. The role earned him a Daytime Emmy Award
nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series, and George followed his success on the show
with appearances on series like Eve, Friends, Moesha, Without a Tracem Titans , What About Brian,
ER, Shark and House. George's film credits include Off Centre, Barbershop, Fallen, Clockstoppers,
The Climb, The Box, Broken Windows, and Three Can Play That Game. He is currently working on the hit
ABC show Eli Stone.
Devon Gummersall (Joey)
Devon Gummersall began his acting career playing "Brian Krakow" on the highly-acclaimed series
My So-Called Life with Claire Danes. From acclaimed independent features such as The Young
Unknowns with Eion Bailey, The Anarchist's Cookbook with John Savage and Seven and a Match
with Adam Scott, to studio films like Dick with Kirsten Dunst, and Independence Day with Will
Smith, Gummersall displays a rare ability to inhabit different characters. His TV credits also include
starring roles in the HBO films When Trumpets Fade and Earth Vs. The Spider, and recurring
roles on Felicity, Roswell, Once & Again, and The L-Word. Devon most recently
starred opposite Lili Taylor in State of Mind, the Lifetime series by acclaimed novelist Amy Bloom.
In addition to his acting work, Devon wrote several epsiodes of Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick's internet
series quarterlife.
